Autism is not a contagious disease. Its symbolic color is blue. The characteristics of each of the children with autism are as different; Their talents are also different. Someone might be able to draw a good picture, someone might be able to do their own thing. All of this should be a success for a child with autism. They also said that for a child with special needs, not only the mother but also the father should be given quality time. The gymnasium, swimming pool needs to have opportunities for special children at least one day a week. Parents need counseling. Because if the parents of these children are good, their child will also be good. However, a study says that one-third of mothers of autistic children receive negative treatment from family and neighbors. 41% of mothers take care of an autistic child alone. 59% of mothers are supported by domestic workers, husbands, other family members, other children and in some cases neighbors.
One-third of mothers complain that neighbors have a negative attitude towards autistic children. Many call it crazy, they despise it. Many are scared to see these children again. About half of mothers of autistic children are mentally ill. Alia Nahid, a scientist in the non-communicable disease branch of the ICDDRB, said the saddest thing is that many mothers do not go to the doctor even if they suffer from physical and mental problems.
A recent research report by the Institute of Pediatric Neuro Disorders and Autism (IPNA) found that the number of autistic children is higher in urban areas than in rural areas. 14 out of every 10,000 children in rural areas and 25 out of every 10,000 children in urban areas have autism. The incidence of autism in boys is about two and a half times higher than in girls. In addition, the prevalence of autism among children aged 18 to 30 months in the country is 16 out of every 10,000.
