Various fruits including mango, blackberry and litchi are falling

Rivers and canals of villages including Amtali of Barguna are drying up due to hostile weather and extreme heat. The fields and ghats are bursting. Due to lack of desired rains, the farmers are disappointed with the fall of various fruits including local varieties of mango, blackberry and litchi. Agriculture officials say prolonged hostile weather and drought are likely to cause irreparable damage to the fruit.

According to the Agriculture Office, the upazila has orchards of different varieties including mango, blackberry and litchi in about 250 hectares of land. A record amount of mango, blackberry and litchi and other fruits were expected to be produced at the beginning of the season. But due to hostile weather and lack of desired rain, those expectations have faded. Just as the fruit of a tree has stopped growing in adverse weather, so the fruit is falling indiscriminately due to lack of sap in the soil.

There are about 35,350 fruit growers in the upazila. Among them, many farmers have taken care of the trees as per the advice of the Upazila Agriculture Office, but most of them are now looking after nature. Many of these farmers fear that 70 percent of the fruit of each tree will fall in such weather and drought.

Abu Saleh, deputy assistant agriculture officer (plant conservation), said various fruits were falling due to the effects of the weather and lack of rain. Farmers and gardeners have been advised to water the trees.

Upazila Agriculture Officer CM Rezaul Karim said on his mobile phone that there is a possibility of irreparable loss to the farmers.

The fever has been going on for more than a week. Everyone’s shortness of breath in the heat. When you go out on the street in extreme heat, you have to be alone in the heat. It creates discomfort in the body as well as it looks bad. The clothes are also damaged due to stains. However, if you follow some things, you can reduce sweating. Here are 5 ways to reduce sweating.

Mix 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in 1 glass of water. Soak a cotton ball in this mixture and apply it on the neck, armpits, hands and soles of the feet before going to bed at night. Then get up in the morning and wash.

Tomatoes contain anti-oxidants that remove toxins from the body. Eat 1 glass of tomato juice daily for 1 week.

Eat less spicy and salty foods in hot weather. All these foods warm the body. As a result, the body wants to get water out of the body through that hot sweat. Like salt, eating more salt causes more sweating which removes excess salt from the body. So eat less salt in hot weather.

The more anxiety, the more sweat. So try to meditate at least some time every day. Do deep breathing several times. Sweat will be less throughout the day.
