Violence in Myanmar: 828 killed

On February 1, the military-led junta government illegally seized power. Since then, the government has been in Myanmar for about four months. However, the violence in the country has not stopped yet. Another woman has been killed by the country’s security forces. The death toll rose to 628 people. This information was given to the local monitoring group on Thursday.

The Aid Party for Myanmar’s Political Prisoners (APP) said on Wednesday that junta government troops opened fire on Tao St. village in Salin township in the Magway region on Tuesday night. One woman was shot in the head. According to local media Myanmar Nao, residents wrote slogans against the education system under military rule at the gates and walls of local schools. After that about 70 army and police forces attacked the village. A 24-year-old woman was killed in the attack. She has a six-year-old daughter.

According to the APP, a total of 4,330 people are currently being held captive by the junta in Myanmar. Of these, 102 have been sentenced to different terms.

The Bangladesh national football team will travel to Qatar to play the World Cup and Asian Cup qualifiers at midnight.
