Sculpted Panic ‘Bicycle Force’

The ‘Cycle Force’ is a symbol of terror to the villagers of Itna Panchkahnia in Kishoreganj. Ordinary people are unhappy with their oppression. They are beating, torturing, torturing anyone when they like. They are even forcibly occupying government and privately owned land, obstructing government work and committing various crimes.

Visiting Panchkahnia village, it was learned that the chief of the force was Saikul Islam. He is led by Shabikul Islam, Rafiqul Islam, Farzul Mia, Barju Mia, Nazrul Islam, Milon Mia, Mikail Mia, Rafiqul Mia and others.

It is learned that the terrorists of ‘Saikul Bahini’ last tried to kill a young man named Durjoy Hasan (20) on May 21. The cadres of the bicycle attacked Reju Mia as they went to protect him. A case has been filed against 16 people including bicycles in this incident. However, a week after the incident, the police could not arrest any accused. On the other hand, the cyclists have filed the opposite case.

There are allegations that Saikul and his gang have been occupying Raihan Ahmed Paltu’s shop and his brothers’ house in Panchkahnia Bazar for several years. But the affected family is not able to take refuge in the law for fear. The cycling forces also occupied the government land next to the occupied shop. He raised the walls in that place and increased the perimeter of the shop occupied by bicycles.

According to the locals, the cyclists had earlier obstructed the construction of crop protection dam in Haor during the last Boro season. The construction work of crop protection dam was started on 16th December at Haor in the forest. Although the farmers allowed the construction of dams on the land for their own benefit, Saikul prevented the construction of dams on his land. According to Paubo sources, the dam part of the bicycle land had to be left vacant. The dam is not working.

An unnamed local farmer said, “An influential local leader is sheltering behind the terrorist force that Saikul has formed.” And most of the terrorists of Saikul and his forces used to do BNP politics. After the change of power, now the Awami League is carrying out terror in the shelter of that leader. People all over the union know that.

Attempts were made to contact Saikul on his mobile phone more than once. However, his phone was found turned off.
