Wasim Akram does not want to be the coach of Pakistan for fear of that

He is one of the best fast bowlers in the history of cricket. He got the title ‘Sultan of Swing’. He is also one of the best captains in the country. He has led Pakistan in 109 matches. Any country would like to get such a superstar as a coach. However, Wasim Akram did not object to being the coach of another country but did not agree to be the coach of his own country Pakistan.

The Pakistan team has come under intense criticism for playing poorly in recent times. From coach Misbah-ul-Haq to team cricketers – everyone has been attacked. According to Akram, he will not be able to cope with the pressure from the Pakistan coach. In an interview, Akram said, ‘If you are a coach, you have to be busy 200-250 days a year. That is a very difficult task. I don’t think I can leave Pakistan or my family and stay out for so long. Moreover, most of the cricketers play in Pakistan Super League. Everyone has my number. I agree if anyone asks for help. ‘

Not only that, the treatment of coaches when they play badly is also one of the major reasons why Akram did not come to coach. That is the cricket culture of Pakistan. Akram added, ‘I am not a fool. Sometimes I hear people have misbehaved with coaches or cricketers. But the coach does not play down the field. He just plans. So if the team loses, that responsibility does not just fall on the coach. This is why I am scared. I can’t stand such behavior. ‘
