A comment by Virat Kohli, one of the best batsmen in the current cricket world, about Pakistan’s World Cup winning legend Wasim Akram has gone viral on social media. India captain Kohli has openly named the Pakistan star pacer in response to questions from fans about which bowler he would have had trouble playing in the past.
Wasim Akram said goodbye to cricket long before Virat Kohli started playing international cricket. Naturally, Virat Kohli never got a chance to bat with the ball of that legendary cricketer of Pakistan’s World Cup winning team. But Kohli thinks he would have trouble batting against Wasim Akram.
According to the Hindustan Times, Virat is currently in quarantine with the team in Mumbai before leaving for England. The Indian captain decided to answer questions from his supporters on social media while in quarantine.
In that Q&A session on Instagram, a supporter asked Kohli which bowler in the past he thought could have got him in trouble. In reply, Virat Kohli said directly, “I think I would have a problem batting against Wasim Akram.”

Incidentally, Wasim Akram is one of the best bowlers in the history of cricket. He holds the world record for most wickets in a list with 81 wickets. He is also the highest wicket-taker in ODI cricket with 502 wickets. Wasim Akram, the inventor of the reverse swing, made history by becoming the Man of the Final at the 1992 Cricket World Cup in Pakistan.
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-10) arrested six robbers with weapons in a raid in Shampur area of the capital. The arrested are Apon Sarkar (30), Jahangir Alam Raju (41), Iqbal Hossain (40), Nadeem (32), Avi (26) and Akib (30).
RAB-10 Assistant Director (Media) ASP Enayet Kabir Shoaib said on Saturday (May 29) night that a team of RAB-10 raided the Jurain Munshibari New Road area of Shampur Police Station around 2pm on Friday (May 29) on the basis of secret information. Six robbers were arrested while preparing for the robbery.
Two one-shooter guns, three rounds of ammunition, four Swiss gear knives, two knives, a motorcycle, six mobile phones and Rs 465 in cash were seized from them.
Based on the interrogation, he said the accused were members of an organized gang of robbers. They had been conducting robberies in different parts of the capital for some time.
ASP Enayet Kabir also said that a case has been filed against the accused.
