2. Position Name Research Fellow. Job grade 8. Salary 35,500-6,010 rupees. The candidate must have a PhD degree. Must have two years of teaching or research experience.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) has announced the results of admission test for MPhil, MMED and Diploma and MPhil PSM and MPH courses for the July 2021 academic year.
The results were published on the university’s website on Friday evening. Candidates can know their results on the University website www.bsmmu.edu.bd.
Earlier, admission test for MPhil, MMED and Diploma courses was held on the same day from 9 am to 10:30 am. Besides, MPhil, PSM and MPH admission tests are held from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
This year there were a total of 6,150 candidates. Of these, 1,529 were in the Faculty of Medicine, 3,299 in the Faculty of Surgery, 654 in the Faculty of Basic Science and Para Clinical Sciences, 209 in the Faculty of Dental, 618 in the Faculty of Preventive and Social Medicine and 643 in the Faculty of Pediatrics.
One person was killed and 10 others were injured in a clash between two sides over a football match in Sunamganj’s South Sunamganj upazila. The clash took place at Chikarkandi village in the upazila on Friday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Awal Khan, 60. He is a resident of Chikarkandi village in South Sunamganj upazila.
According to police and eyewitness sources, a football match was played between two local teams in Chikarkandi village last Wednesday. At the end of the game, there were fights and clashes between the two sides over the prize. Due to this, there was tension between the two sides. It was supposed to be arbitrated on Saturday. But on Friday afternoon, the two sides started talking again and then the clash started. At that time 10 people from both sides were injured. Abdul Awal Khan, who was critically injured in the clash, was brought to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital in the evening. At that time the doctor on duty there declared him dead.
Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of Sunamganj Sadar Hospital Rafiqul Islam said Awal Khan was brought to the hospital at 6pm on Friday. He died before reaching the hospital.
