According to sources, on Wednesday (June 9), the fourth working day of the week after the announcement of the budget, half an hour after the start of trading, that is, at 10:30 am, the DSE general index DSEX rose 54 points to 6,006 points. The DSE Shariah Index increased by 5 points and the DSE 30 Index increased by 12 points to 1295 and 2208 points respectively. Shares and mutual fund units worth Tk 533.64 crore were traded during the period.
Of the companies traded during the period, 224 rose, 72 declined and 40 remained unchanged.
The top 10 companies traded till 10:30 am were Lankabangla, Islamic Finance, Beximco Limited, National Feed, Ring Sign, NRBC Bank, Purabi General Insurance, Federal Insurance, Runner Auto and Dutch Bangla Bank.
The DSE index rose 52 points in the first 5 minutes of trading. Then at 10:10 the index decreased by 6 points from the previous position. Then the speed of the indicator can be seen upwards. At 10:15 am, the index rose 49 points to 6,072 points.
Meanwhile, half an hour after the start of trading at 10:30 am, the CASPI index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) rose 72 points to 16,503 points. Then the speed of the indicator can be seen upwards.
7 crore 8 lakh shares and mutual fund units were traded on the CSE till 10:30 am. During this period, the prices of 75 companies have gone up and the prices of 28 companies have gone down. The share prices of 32 companies remained unchanged.
