The number of thefts in Betagi of Barguna is increasing day by day. Residents, including businessmen of the municipal town, are worried as thefts have been committed in the same manner.
A businessman from Betagi town has been caught by a new thief. Choice Cosmetics owner. The thief broke the lock of the shop of the trader named Babul Matubbar and stole it in a fancy way on Tuesday (June 7) at noon.
At around 1pm on the day of the incident, owner Babul Matubbar left the shop open and went to the mosque for the Johar prayers. At the end of the prayers, he saw a broken lock hanging in the cash box of the shop. Then he entered and saw that there was no 40,000 rupees inside the cash box.
A day earlier, the owner of Dulal Su-Store in the same manner. Dulal went to the mosque at noon to perform the Zohar prayers. The thief opened the lock at around 1:32 am and left the place after stealing Tk 60,000.
