Rampal Pasi, a resident of Akohari Majre Osah of Shivgarh police station area, had gone to Ahlwar village of Maharajganj Kotwali area with his son Shyamu’s wedding procession. During the door worship here on Tuesday night, a dispute started over something.
After this the people of the girl’s side started beating. The boy’s father Rampal, groom Shyamu, groom’s brother Sonu and six baratis were injured in the fight. The incident caused a stampede. In the dark of night, the baraatis ran away.
Other people including the groom Shyamu somehow escaped and saved their lives. The groom’s father, Rampal, has accused the people of the girl’s side in Kotwali of assault, robbing jewellery, cash. Kotwal Rekha Singh reached and investigated the incident. CO Ramkishore Singh says that action will be taken after investigation.
