Terrorists have carried out another nefarious act after a drone attack on the Air Force station of Jammu airport. Terrorists have targeted the family of a policeman in Tral, Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorists shot dead SPO Fayaz Ahmed. The SPO, his wife and daughter were shot by the terrorists. His wife has died during treatment while his daughter is seriously injured.

According to the Kashmir Zone Police, after entering the house of SPO Fayaz Ahmed of Hariparigam in Awantipora, terrorists fired indiscriminately. He along with his wife and daughter have suffered serious injuries in this terrorist incident. Ahmed succumbed to the injuries. At the same time, his wife died during treatment. The area has been cordoned off. The search operation is going on there.

A senior police officer said that the terrorist forcibly entered the house of SPO Fayaz Ahmed and opened fire indiscriminately. In the incident, his wife and daughter, including the SPO, suffered serious injuries due to bullet injuries. While Fayaz Ahmed died on the spot, his wife Raja Begum died in GMC Anantnag.

Daughter hospitalized in critical condition
SPO Fayaz Ahmed’s daughter Rafia has been admitted to the hospital, Medical Superintendent GMC Dr Iqbal Sofi said that Rafia’s condition is critical.

Explosives were dropped from the drone at the Air Force Station
Earlier on Sunday, two explosives-laden drones fell on the Air Force station of Jammu airport, causing two blasts in a span of 6 minutes in which two Air Force personnel were also injured. Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh termed the blasts as a terrorist attack. He said police, air force and other agencies were investigating the attack.
