The political turmoil in Gujarat has intensified ahead of the assembly elections to be held next year. Aam Aadmi Party leader Isudan Gadhvi and diamond merchant Mahesh Savani have been attacked in Junagadh, Gujarat. AAP alleges that this attack has been done by BJP workers. On the other hand, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has attacked BJP without naming. Kejriwal tweeted, ‘This violence is your fury, your defeat’.
In fact, the Aam Aadmi Party has announced to contest the Gujarat Assembly elections. For this, AAP leaders are running campaigns in entire Gujarat. In this sequence, on Wednesday, Aam Aadmi Party leaders Isudan Gadhvi and Mahesh Savani went to Leriya village of Junagadh under a public relations campaign. He was accompanied by other leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party. It is alleged that these leaders were attacked by unknown people. During this, one worker was seriously injured. The Aam Aadmi Party alleged that the BJP was behind the alleged attack on party leaders.
‘Violence is your anger, your defeat’
On the other hand, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal attacked BJP without naming it. Kejriwal tweeted, “If people like Ishudan and Mahesh Bhai are being openly attacked in Gujarat then no one is safe in Gujarat. This violence is your anger, your defeat. Win the hearts of people by giving them good facilities, don’t scare them by attacking the opposition. These people are not afraid.
