This parcel was to be received by Mohammed Sufiyan in Darbhanga only. Just as the sender and the receiver had the same name on the parcel, similarly the same mobile number was entered at both the places. After the blast, when the police and ATS checked the mobile number, the mobile number was of Kairana town in Shamli district.

Then the team of Bihar Police and NIA, while giving information about the matter to UP ATS, took help and while conducting raids by tracing the location, captured Qasim alias Kafeel. Salim was arrested on the basis of information received from Kafeel. The mobile number on the basis of which the police reached Shamli belonged to Kafeel. The team had taken Kafeel into custody on June 23 itself. Due to which raids were conducted in Hyderabad.
