In the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) located in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, a nursing student committed suicide by hanging herself in her hostel room. After giving the nursing exam on Friday, the student went to her room. From the suicide note found in the room, it is being speculated that the deceased girl was in depression.
Raipur Police officials said on Saturday that Sakshi Dubey, a BSc Nursing first year student at AIIMS located under Amanaka police station area of the city, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself. The 21-year-old girl was a resident of Vilaspur. The family members have been informed about his death.
According to the information received by the police, Sakshi had gone to her hostel room after giving B.Sc Nursing examination in AIIMS on Friday. When she did not reach for dinner, other girls went to call her but the door of the room did not open. When the girl students looked inside the window, the body of Sakshi was seen hanging from the fan. After this the hostel authorities informed the police.

The body was brought down in the presence of police who reached the spot. The police have received a letter from the room, which shows that the student was in depression. The police have also recovered the mobile phone of the deceased student, which is being investigated. Police have registered a case and started investigation into the matter.
