Coronavirus in India 43,071 new cases have been reported in a day of infection. The total number of infected has increased to 3,05,45,433. The cases under treatment for infection have come down to 4,85,350. The Union Health Ministry gave this information on Sunday. According to the updated data at 8 am, the death toll rose to 4,02,005 after 955 more people died due to infection in the country. The Ministry said that the number of cases under treatment in the country has come down to 4,85,350, which is 1.59 percent of the total cases of infection, while the recovery rate from Kovid-19 has improved to 97.09.

More recovery than cases for the 52nd consecutive day
The ministry said that the number of cases under treatment has come down by 10,183 in the last 24 hours. According to the data, 18,38,490 samples were tested on Saturday. So far 41,82,54,953 samples have been tested in the country. The ministry said that the daily infection rate is 2.34 percent. It has been less than five percent for 27 consecutive days. The weekly infection rate fell to 2.44 percent. The number of people who recovered in the country for the 52nd consecutive day exceeded the daily cases.
According to the data, the number of people who have recovered from the disease has increased to 2,96,58,078, while the death rate has increased to 1.32 percent. So far 35.12 crore people in the country have been vaccinated against Kovid-19.
In the country last year on 7 August, the number of infected had crossed 20 lakh, on 23 August 30 lakh and on 5 September more than 40 lakh. At the same time, the total cases of infection crossed 50 lakhs on 16th September, 60 lakhs on 28th September, 70 lakhs on 11th October, 80 lakhs on 29th October, 90 lakhs on 20th November. In the country, these cases crossed one crore on December 19, crossed two crore on May 4 and crossed three crore on June 23.
