Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taught the new ministers in the Council of Ministers to avoid unnecessary rhetoric and to devote all their energy to the work of the Ministry. Apart from this, he has expressed concern over the pictures of people roaming in crowded places without masks and violating Corona rules. After the expansion, Prime Minister Modi held the first meeting of the Council of Ministers on Thursday, in which the new ministers were told what to do and what not to do.
News agency PTI quoted sources as saying that in the meeting of the Council of Ministers on Thursday, the Prime Minister has advised the new ministers to reach office on time, keep the entire focus on the work of the ministry and avoid unnecessary rhetoric. This was the first meeting of Prime Minister Modi with the ministers after the expansion in the Council of Ministers. The Prime Minister said in the meeting of the new Council of Ministers that the ministers who are no longer part of it have contributed a lot, the new ministers can learn from them. PM Modi advised the ministers that only the work of ministers matters and they should not fall into the vicious circle of getting media attention. He said that ministers should avoid unnecessary rhetoric.
Expressing concern over photographs of people flouting social distancing in crowded places and walking around without wearing masks, the Prime Minister said there should be no room for negligence or lack in the fight against Corona. He said that for the last few days, pictures and videos are coming out of crowded places, people walking without masks or not following social distancing. News agency ANI quoted sources as saying that the prime minister told the ministers, “It is not a pleasant sight, it should create fear in us.”
According to sources, the Prime Minister said that in recent months, people want to come out when the cases of corona are less. He warned that everyone should remember that the corona is not gone yet, infections are increasing in many countries and the virus is mutating. PM Modi said, ‘As a minister, our aim is not to create fear among the people but we should request people to take every possible precaution so that we can get rid of this epidemic in the coming times.’
PM Modi also expressed concern over the continuous arrival of new cases in Maharashtra and Kerala.
