Novak Djokovic, the world’s number one tennis player (Novak Djokovic) Wimbledon Tennis Tournament (Wimbledon 2021) made it to the finals. On Friday, Djokovic showed a great game in the semi-finals of Canada Denis ShapovalovDenis Shapovalov) in straight sets 7-6 7-5 7-5. Djokovic has made it to the Wimbledon final for the 7th time.
Djokovic will now face Italy’s Matteo Berrettini, who defeated Roger Federer’s Hubert Harkaz in the final on Sunday. Djokovic also won the previous Wimbledon title.
Djokovic, 34, has achieved his 101st victory on the grass court and is now just one step away from winning a record 20 Grand Slams. The Wimbledon final will be played on Sunday.
Berrettini has become the first Italian player to reach the Wimbledon final. This is the first time in 45 years that an Italian player has reached the final of a Grand Slam tournament. Berrettini will take on top seed Novak Djokovic in Sunday’s final.
