Harish Rawat reached Punjab on Saturday afternoon with the message of Sonia Gandhi. He met him at the Captain’s farmhouse in Mohali. After this, Harish Rawat claimed that whatever decision the party president Sonia Gandhi will take, it will be accepted by everyone including the Chief Minister. The last time when the Captain came to Delhi, he himself had said that whatever the party leadership’s decision would be, he was acceptable to him.

Sidhu in action as soon as he returns from Delhi, quick meetings
Navjot Singh Sidhu had met Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi in Delhi a day earlier. Since this meeting, the speculation of him being made the state president of Congress in Punjab had intensified. Sidhu looked very active on Saturday after returning from Delhi. He met State President Sunil Jakhar in Panchkula which lasted for more than half an hour. After the meeting, he said that he had come to take the guidance of his elder brother.
Sidhu also met ministers in the Punjab government Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Balbir Singh Sidhu and senior party leader Lal Singh. Apart from this, he also met MLAs Barindermeet Singh Pahra, Amarinder Singh Raja Waring, Kulbir Singh Jeera and Davinder Singh Ghubaya.
