Politics has intensified regarding those who died during the Corona epidemic. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has targeted the Narendra Modi government at the Center. Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday alleged that about 50 lakh Indians died during the second wave of corona infection due to wrong decisions of the central government. India has officially reported the death of around 4.18 lakh persons from Covid-19 in the country so far.
Rahul Gandhi shared a new study on his Twitter handle on behalf of ‘Center for Global Development’. It has estimated the death rate from the start of the corona epidemic to June 2021 from three different data sources. Sharing the study, he tweeted, ‘Truth. The wrong decisions of the Government of India during the second wave of Kovid took the lives of 5 million of our sisters, brothers, mothers and fathers.
In another tweet, Rahul Gandhi said that no compensation will be given by the central government to those who lost their lives during the farmers’ protests. Using the hashtag ‘Farmers Protest’, he said, ‘There is a record in the tears of those who lost their loved ones.’
