Schools will be opened in Chhattisgarh with class 10th and 12th from August 2. On Monday, the state government issued its orders. Along with the order, a guideline has also been issued for schools and colleges. State School Education Minister Premsai Singh Tekam gave this information on Monday evening. The first post graduate classes will start in the college from August 2. UG classes will start after 15 days.
Tekam said that following the guidelines of Corona, 50% of the students will be allowed in schools and colleges. Parental consent will be required for this. Educational institutions will be allowed to run in only those districts where the positivity rate of corona has been less than one percent for seven days. Students suffering from cold, cough or fever will not be allowed to sit in the offline classes.
School-colleges were closed in March last year with the onset of the first wave of corona virus infection. After about 17 months, classes will be held in the educational institutions in offline mode as before. However, online classes will also continue for the time being.
The decision of offline classes for small classes in the school will be done by the Gram Panchayat in rural areas and the parent committee of the school. In urban areas, classes can be started after the approval of the councilor of the concerned ward and the parent committee of the school.
