Cricketer Rashid Khan is hurt by the brutality of the rising Taliban in Afghanistan. He has appealed to the world leaders to save the Afghan people through Twitter, to which a large number of people are reacting. On the other hand, big countries including India and America have asked their people to leave Afghanistan.

Rashid Khan, one of the world’s mystery spinners, wrote in the tweet – Dear leaders around the world! My country is in trouble. Thousands of people including women and children are being killed every day. Homes and properties are being destroyed. People are being forced to leave their homes. Do not leave us alone in these difficult times. Save Afghanistan and its people from ruin. we want peace.

It is noteworthy that the Indian Embassy in a letter issued on Tuesday has advised its citizens to leave Afghanistan immediately. Indian citizens have been asked to make immediate travel arrangements for their return to India.

Indian companies in Afghanistan have also been advised to repatriate Indian employees immediately. Earlier on June 29 and July 24, the Indian Embassy had issued advisories to its citizens regarding the situation in Afghanistan.
