Amrapali Projects buyers’ troubles are not taking the name of lessening. The Supreme Court has given 15 days time to 9,538 Amrapali buyers to fill their details on the court receiver’s website and initiate payment. If they fail to do so, the court receiver can cancel their allotment. Their flats can be included in the unsold inventory.
However, the court also said that the case of 6,210 buyers who have availed the subvention scheme facility will be dealt with separately. According to Moneycontrol, Kumar Mihir, the counsel for the buyers, said that if the buyers do not fill in their details and start making payments for their units, they will be in trouble. Their flats or villas can be cancelled.

He said that this would help the court receiver to implement the swap of units and start selling the unsold inventory. This will provide funds to meet the unfinished units. Supreme Court-appointed court receiver R Venkataramani told the court that 9,538 buyers have neither registered themselves on the website nor made any payment. The court had given an order in this regard in July last year. He said 6,210 buyers have registered themselves but they are not making any payment. The next hearing of the case is to be held on August 27.
