PCR test most important rule
It is mandatory for passengers to undergo rapid PCR test at the airport six hours before the flight. After reaching Dubai International Airport, passengers have to undergo another PCR test. These rules are very strict which can affect your journey. In the past, the UAE had canceled all Indigo Airlines flights due to several passengers not getting PCR tests done. However, this decision was later withdrawn.

Flydubai said on its website that passport holders from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and Uganda can enter Dubai with a tourist visa. Provided the traveler has not lived in any of these countries in the last 14 days. Airlines said that the PCR test will depend on the country from where the journey will start. Travelers must have the approval of GDRFA i.e. General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs.

Check will be done before and after flight
Also, there should be a print copy of the negative report of the PCR test done within 48 hours of the flight, which should be QR code for verification. Passengers will also have to undergo a rapid PCR test at the airport six hours before the scheduled flight time and will also undergo screening after reaching the Dubai airport. The airlines said that if you are a UAE resident, a GCC citizen or a tourist, regardless of where your journey originated, you must have a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of your scheduled flight to Dubai. .

Who will get exemption from rules
After this, the next test will be done after reaching the airport. The information said that passenger flights from Bangladesh to Dubai will remain suspended till further notice. At the same time, the entry of passengers from Afghanistan and Indonesia will also be banned. However, this rule will not apply to diplomatic, economic and scientific missions, UAE nationals, holders of golden visas and travelers who have obtained entry permission from the authorities.

Responding to a passenger’s query, Emirates Airlines said that travelers staying outside India for 14 days can travel to Dubai on a tourist visa. Emirates said that if you are traveling from India or Pakistan, you must have valid documents for the test done from a reputed lab.
