“We are rethinking the whole curriculum,” he said. Now not only knowledge, skills with knowledge, right mentality with it, everything has to be included in our curriculum. That is why we are working to build good citizens, global citizens. The work certainly won’t happen overnight. It will take time. However, the work has begun. Our curriculum will be woven in the same thread from pre-primary to university. From being faithful to our history we need to develop students as the right people in knowledge, science and humanity. May they become golden people and build Bangabandhu’s golden Bengal.
The education minister said, “In addition to religious education, there is a need for modern education in the religious institutions that we have.” They should be able to learn in the same way as mainstream educational institutions. Let them go in a healthy, normal environment. So that they too can stand on their own feet in career oriented education. Then they are not dependent. That is why we have to have one and the same goal. ‘
