In the last few days, the number of cases of coronavirus has been increasing rapidly in the whole country including Narayanganj. Yet most people do not follow hygiene rules, do not wear masks. Keeping that in mind, the Narayanganj district administration and the district police have jointly launched a special campaign to raise awareness among the people of Narayanganj against corona.
On Saturday morning, six teams of district police led by six executive magistrates took part in the police operation in six important places in Narayanganj to increase public health awareness and distribute masks. At this time, pedestrians, passengers in different transports, those who did not have masks in different shopping complexes were given masks and health awareness was instructed to avoid corona outbreak.

Golam Masum Pradhan, Executive Magistrate Farzana Akhter, Executive Magistrate Nasrin Akhter, Executive Magistrate Mehedi Hasan Faruk and Executive Magistrate Abdul Matin Khan, Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahjaman and other members of the district administration and police administration.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman told the media, “We are all seeing how fast the corona outbreak has been spreading for the last few days. On the other hand, there is no health awareness among the majority of the people.” Therefore, the Narayanganj district administration and the district police have jointly organized this campaign to ensure health awareness of all.
“Our goal is for every citizen to be health conscious and wear the mask,” he said. In addition to the fines, we are also ready to take a tough stand. Our campaign will continue until this coronavirus is brought under control.
