Hotspot Nandigram was on the list for the second phase of West Bengal Assembly elections. State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah exchanged views on Friday.
Amit Shah visited North Bengal yesterday. He came to Shitalkuchi around 12 noon. He claimed at the rally that the BJP had won 50 of the 60 seats in the two-phase polls. Not only that, the fact that Mamata is losing in Nandigram has also become clear, said the Union Home Minister. He said, ‘Didi it’s time for you to go. Didi is losing from Nandigram. ‘
The Home Minister also attacked yesterday with the slogan ‘Trinamool will play’. “Didi’s departure is certain,” he said. The Trinamool wants to show fear that the game will be played. Don’t be afraid. Didi lost the Nandigram vote. The BJP has been vocal about ‘coal mafia’ and ‘sand mafia’ since the beginning of the election. In North Bengal, that word was also heard on Amit’s face. He said, “After the 2nd, I will stop the reign of sand mafia and coal mafia.” I will make arrangements to send everyone to jail. Only you change your sister. Call your relatives and tell them to come and vote. ‘
On the same day, Mamata also started campaigning in North Bengal. He held his first meeting at Dinhata in Kochbihar. There he said, ‘Congratulations to the people of Nandigram. Looking at the votes in Nandigram, I can say, you keep looking at victory. Voting took place in 70 centers in two phases. I have won 50 of them. ‘
The Trinamool leader left Nandigram at 9.15 am yesterday, keeping her promise not to leave Nandigram before the polls. From there he came to Calcutta Airport. Then he reached Dinhata through Bagdogra. Source: Anandabazar Patrika.
