The conditions to be met in the congregational prayers in the mosque

The Ministry of Religion has banned the holding of Iftar and Sehri in the country’s mosques during the holy month of Ramadan to prevent the transmission of the corona virus. Besides, the congregation has been called to follow the 10 guidelines including following the hygiene rules.

This information was given through an emergency notification on Monday (April 5). Local administration and law enforcement agencies have been informed to take legal action against the concerned officials if they do not follow the instructions.

The guidelines say that in order to ensure public safety, the guidelines of the health care department, local administration and law enforcement agencies must be followed. The conditions are: –

Social distance must be ensured in standing for prayers in Qatar.
Children, the elderly, the sick and the sick should refrain from attending congregations.
