Mus’ab ibn Sa’d narrates from his father that he thinks he has superiority over the other companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, ‘Surely Allah helps this ummah because of their weakness: Because of their sincerity or devotion. ‘(Sunan Nasai, Hadith: 317). In the above-mentioned hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) has described three ways to seek Allah’s help in times of hardship and helplessness. That is prayer, supplication and devotion to Allah. Besides, there is evidence in the hadith of the special status of weak and helpless people in the court of Allah.

Purpose by the weak: People in the society who are backward due to various reasons including poverty, physical disability, old age. But they do not lag behind in obedience, worship and remembrance of Allah. The Holy Qur’an says, “Be patient with those who call on their Lord morning and evening to seek His pleasure, and do not turn your eyes away from those who seek the beauty of this world.” (Surah Al-Kahf, verse 26)
