To facilitate the treatment of the victims and the burial of the dead
It is our responsibility to take care of those who have already been infected and to stand by their families and attend the funerals of those who have died. Of course, everything has to be done according to the hygiene rules. Maybe the great Rabb can save us from this deadly disease by His special mercy. Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, ‘The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that the one who performs the janaza prayer has one kirat amount of thawab and the one who stays with the dead until he is buried has two kirat amounts of thawab. The narrator said, I asked, O Abu Huraira, what is Kirat? He said, “It is equal to the mountain of Uhud.”
To provide food and clothing to the needy
At the time of this epidemic, it is up to the neighbors and relatives to provide food and clothing to those who are half-starved. Defining a neighbor, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘Up to 40 houses in the vicinity are all neighbors.’ Those who live side by side permanently or temporarily, or those who are socially nearby and accompany on the way are also considered neighbors. Allah the Almighty said, ‘All of you serve Allah; Do not associate anyone with Him; Get along well with your parents. Treat kindly, orphans, and the needy, and be kind to your neighbors, and to your kindred, and to your fellow-travelers, and to the slaves under you. Know that Allah does not like those who are proud to grow up. ‘(Surah An-Nisa’, verse 38)
Creating new jobs to deal with the economic downturn
In this epidemic, those who have lost their jobs and are going to lose their jobs, and as a result of the economic recession that is being feared, we still have work to do. Allah the Almighty said, ‘People ask you, what will we spend? Answer: The wealth you spend is for yourself, for your parents, for your relatives, for the orphans and the needy, and for the travelers. ‘(Surat al-Baqara, verse 215).
