Govt to provide vaccine passport: Palak

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Junaid Ahmed Palak said those who took the second dose of corona vaccine would be given a ‘vaccine passport’ along with their certificate.

He made the remarks after taking a second dose from the immunization center at Sheikh Mujib Medical University’s (BSMMU) convention center on Thursday.

Earlier in the morning BSMMU VC Professor. The second dose of corona was administered at the BSMMU immunization center by Sharfuddin Ahmed.
He called on all to adhere to hygiene rules to prevent corona infection as well as to get vaccinated.

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has said that an extremist communal force called Hefazat-e-Islam is continuing the ongoing violence in different parts of the country to destroy the existing comfort and peace in the country. Their violence has exceeded all levels of tolerance.

He said the Sheikh Hasina government is committed to protect the lives and property of the people.

Obaidul Quader instructed the leaders and workers of all allied organizations including Awami League to prepare a list of the instigators of terrorism, anarchy and communal evil forces and deal with them politically.
Obaidul Quader gave these instructions to the leaders and workers during a regular briefing at his official residence on Wednesday morning.

Warning those who have perpetrated or are still perpetrating violence across the country, the general secretary of the Awami League said, there is a limit to the patience and tolerance of the people of the country! Exceeding the limit will have dire consequences.
Referring to the two challenges facing the government at the moment, Awami League General Secretary, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said, “At the moment, the government’s challenge is to tackle the Corona infection and prevent the activities of extremist groups.” In order to meet these two challenges, it is imperative to coordinate government work and further consolidate the unity of the party.

He was speaking after inaugurating a 50-km stretch of road from Cox’s Bazar Link Road to Unchiprang on Tuesday. The Minister attended the inaugural function via video conference from his official residence in Dhaka.

Obaidul Quader said, “At this time, forgetting the differences, the party leaders and workers should unite and strengthen the hand of Sheikh Hasina, the brave leader of this fight.” I am seeking the cooperation of people from all walks of life to deal with Corona. ‘
