An unidentified 41-year-old worker died while undergoing treatment at Adamdighi in Bogra after falling into the clutches of the Ajna Party. Three more workers were rescued unconscious and taken to hospital. The unidentified man died on Wednesday evening. It is learned that on the way home from Tangail by truck, four workers fell into the clutches of an ignorant party and lost everything. On Wednesday morning, the police rescued them from a place called Dhaka Road in Adamdighi on the Bogra-Naogaon highway and admitted them to Adamdighi Hospital. Among them, an unidentified worker (41) died on Wednesday evening while undergoing treatment. The other three are currently healthy. They are Tabibur Rahman, 18, son of Maminul Islam of Nijsunderpaka village in Dimla upazila of Nilphamari district, Nur Hossain, 35, son of RG Newwashi Farez Uddin of Fulbari upazila in Kurigram district and Matiar Rahman, 48, of Dabichhara village in the same place.
Tabibur Rahman, who is undergoing treatment at Adamdighi Hospital, said, “On Tuesday night, we set off in a truck loaded with cement in the Mirzapur area of Tangail. On the way, after having dinner at Papia Hotel in Sirajganj, the unidentified man made four workers drink soft drink (Seven Up). After that they got into the truck and gradually became unconscious and took 4 mobile phones and 10 thousand rupees from them. The truck fled leaving them on the side of the road at Dhaka Road in Adamdighi on Wednesday morning. After seeing the four workers lying unconscious in the crowd, the police informed them and rescued them and admitted them to Adamdighi Hospital. An unidentified man died in the evening while undergoing treatment there. His home is said to be in Palashbari upazila of Gaibandha.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Bogra’s Adamdighi Police Station Jalal Uddin said a case has been registered in this regard.

Kishoreganj district Chhatra League organizing secretary Lutfar Rahman Nayan has been accused of having an abortion after raping his girlfriend.
His girlfriend filed a case in the court on April 4.
Senior District and Sessions Judge Kiran Shankar Haldar of Kishoreganj’s Women and Child Abuse Suppression Tribunal-1 has directed the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to investigate the case.
The court directed the PBI to submit the report by April 29.
According to the details of the case, the girl met Lutfar Rahman Nayan at Gurudayal College campus. Later a love affair developed between them.
On October 20 last year, Nayan took the girl to the house of a friend named Jewel Rana in Gaital area of the city. There he raped her with death threats.
When the girl cried, Nayan promised to marry her. However, when he found out that the girl was pregnant in January of the new year, he informed her. Hearing this, Nayan said, if he destroys the unborn child, he will get married within a week.
When she agreed to this promise, Nayan gave her a tablet and had an abortion. From then on, Nayan avoided asking for marriage.
