In the non-patriotic education system, madrasa students are becoming fanatics and choosing misguided positions. Rumors of a planned “Islamic coup” could be heard from Hefazat’s side-by-side insights. In the extreme emptiness of the eminent politicians, the emergence of reckless emerging leaders has taken place. An Islamic coup will never take place in this country. And the dream of the Islamic Republican of Bangladesh remains a daydream. You have gone through the generation of freedom and liberation war, that is, the politicians of the sixties and seventies. That’s why it’s now on the sidelines from DuckSite. In the liberation struggle you got a civilized witty freedom-loving progressive class. Otoproto received their participation and support as a warrior in the war. As a result, the three groups of the ruling Muslim League – the Convention and the Qayyum Muslim League, the Jamaat-e-Islami, the Nezami Party and even Pir Maulana – were able to resist the violence. He had to be arrested by the freedom fighters for murder, rape and arson.
After the assassination of Bangabandhu, the pot has changed. It has become easy to gather the enemies of the Awami League. It has been successful in using the Razakars as a tool. It was much easier for Ziaur Rahman to retain power with the prime minister, minister and MP of the opposition. Because these anti-independence Shah Aziz, Mashiur Rahman Jadu Mia, Abdul Alim, Justice Abdus Sattar, AR Yusuf were also leaders in Duxite in the time of Bangabandhu. But the current fanatical fundamentalists are even more terrible than these terrible fundamentalists. On the other hand, the young leadership of the Awami League is not promising.
During the drafting of the constitution, Osmani asked Bangabandhu to include a chapter of the liberation war in the textbooks from first class to graduation in educational institutions including madrasas. He said that hoisting of national flag and performance of national anthem should be made compulsory in Islamic educational institutions including madrasas and that is constitutionally. Bangabandhu could not perform that task in consultation with the academics. Instead, Bangabandhu told Osmani, “My dear senior friend, if I do this, the intellectual scholars will heat up the field.”
However, even in the 50 years of independence, the national flag is not hoisted at the Qawmi Madrasa. The national anthem is not served. On the contrary, he called the Siratunnabi Conference at Suhrawardy Udyan in 1986 and proposed arrogance by naming the then naval chief MG Toab Islamic Republic of Bangladesh and changing the national anthem. The red circle in the middle of the green of the national flag is also painted in gold and hoisted in the government building. It was dropped in the face of intense action by the Muktijoddha Central Command Council. This Toab reconciled with the murderers of Bangabandhu. He got them diplomatic jobs in different countries abroad. At the direction of Ziaur Rahman. But after plotting with the murderous Farooq clique and carrying out a failed coup against Zia, Toab was defeated. The BNP twists of the fundamentalists emerged. As a result, the generation could not inculcate the values of independence and the spirit of the liberation war in their minds. When he was killed, Sheikh Mujib became the late President. Overnight Bangabandhu, the title of Father of the Nation was banned in newspapers. He was banned from state media. The Awami League has to give government approval by deleting Bangabandhu’s name.
On the other hand, the freedom fighters started organizing under the patronage of the state. After coming to power in 1996 under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina, the BNP went to Jamaat-e-Islami and formed a four-party alliance. The national flag was hoisted on the vehicles of anti-independence Jamaat ministers. With the execution of Jamaat leaders, the fundamentalists took a new turn. After the assassination of Bangabandhu, then how will the minds of our children and adolescents be formed? The reflection of how much our children and adolescents have grown up under the spell of fanatical fundamentalists is what we have witnessed in the harassment of Hefazat at Shapla Chattar.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bangladesh was centered on the centenary of Bangabandhu’s birth and the golden jubilee celebrations. He could not stop coming but 18/19 hours of fresh life was lost due to the violence of Hefazat. He also showed the strength to block army vehicles. Mamunul Haque’s scandal at Sonargaon resort is a crime of moral turpitude. His incoherent speech has also hurt religious people. He is now in jail for misinterpreting Islam and the Qur’an. Hefazat is not seen protesting the arrest. Those who snatched Mamunul Haque at the Sonargaon resort after justifying his notoriety have now been arrested. Everyone is a custody leader. Where are the millions of people? Many have also resigned from custody. Maulana Rafiqul Islam Madani, a 26-year-old child speaker, is now in Shri Ghare.
I am quoting in this context, a quote from General Osmani, the Commander-in-Chief of the Liberation War. He constitutionally requested Bangabandhu to include the history of liberation war and independence in the school-college-university syllabus. After 46 years, when Bangladesh Daily Editor Naeem Nizam conferred the same status on Qawmi Madrasa in 2016, the venerable Naeem Nizam wrote, demanding the government to recognize Qawmi Madrasa as a landmark step of Sheikh Hasina. Now the government should issue instructions to hoist the “national flag” and perform the “national anthem” in all madrasas, including the Qawmi Madrasa. Only then would patriotism be awakened in the minds of the students.
