Classical musician Pandit Rajan Mishra dies in Corona

Again the star fell in the music world of India. Pandit Rajan Mishra, a contemporary classical musician, died of a corona and heart attack. He was 80 at the time of his death. The Padma Bhushan recipient died at St. Stephen’s Hospital in Delhi on Sunday.

According to family sources, Pandit Rajan Mishra had been ill for some time. He was shifted from Gangaram Hospital to St. Stephen’s Hospital in Delhi for treatment on Sunday. When his covid test was done there, the report came back positive and then seriously ill Rajan needed a ventilator. But he died of a heart attack at the hospital on Sunday before arranging for a ventilator.

Rajan could have been saved if a ventilator had been installed at the right time, according to his family members. Although more than one ventilator was requested in different places, the ventilator did not match from anywhere. Even the Prime Minister’s Secretariat was requested to arrange for a ventilator by tagging it, but there was no response from there. As a result, Pandit Rajan Mishra passed away today due to lack of a ventilator.

Meanwhile, his crew has expressed grief over his death. Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted condolences over the death of the renowned musician. On the same day, he tweeted, ‘The death of Pandit Rajan Mishra is an irreparable loss to the art and music world. I wish him peace of mind ‘. Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Singh Yadav also expressed grief over his death.

Pandit Rajan Mishra was born in 1951 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh to a classical music-loving family. He first learned classical music from his grandfather Pandit Veda Ram Das Mishra and later the path of classical music started from the legendary Pandit Hanuman Prasad Mishra.

Pandit Sajan Mishra, the brother of this classical artist, is also a famous musician. They used to perform music in pairs. After all, their talent has been recognized in India and around the world.
