The Ministry of Religious Affairs has extended greetings to all on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. Besides, in case of coronavirus situation, everyone has been requested to perform the prayers in compliance with the hygiene rules.
In this regard, the Ministry of Religion has said that measures are being taken to ensure proper protection in case of a deadly epidemic of the deadly coronavirus worldwide. In the current situation, it is very important to follow the hygiene rules. In the meantime, some instructions have been issued for performing prayers in the mosque. Due to the spread of the virus, public gatherings were banned across the country. Following this, following the instructions issued by the Department of Health Services for the consideration of public health and following special precautionary measures, it is requested to perform the congregation of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr prayers of 1442 AH / 2021 under the following conditions:
The Islamic Shari’ah encourages the congregation to perform the holy Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the Eidgah or in the open. But now, considering the risk of life of the worshipers due to the situation of corona virus infection in our country including the world, this year instead of Eidgah or open space, the congregation of Eid prayers is requested to perform in the nearest mosque. If necessary, more than one Jamaat can be held in the same mosque.
Carpets cannot be laid in the mosque during Eid prayers. The entire mosque should be cleaned with disinfectant before the prayers. The worshipers will each be able to bring Jainamaz on their own responsibility.
Soap / hand sanitizer should be kept at the place of ablution in the mosque to prevent corona virus infection.
Soap-water with hand sanitizer / hand washing system should be kept at the entrance of the mosque.
Everyone should perform ablution from their home and come to the mosque and wash their hands with soap for at least 20 seconds while performing ablution.
Worshipers who come to Jamaat for Eid prayers must come to the mosque after wearing a mask. Jainamaz and hats reserved in the mosque cannot be used.
Social distance and health rules must be followed while standing in Qatar during Eid prayers.
Children, the elderly, any sick person and those engaged in the service of the sick cannot participate in the congregation of Eid prayers.
To ensure public safety, the guidelines of the Department of Health Services, local administration and law enforcement must be followed.
A request is being made to avoid hugging and shaking hands at the end of Jamaat in the mosque to ensure prevention of corona virus infection.
Khatibs and Imams are being requested to offer prayers in the court of the great Rabbul Al-Amin after the holy Eid-ul-Fitr prayers to save them from the Corona virus epidemic; And the Honorable Khatib, Imam and Mosque Management Committee will ensure the implementation of the matters.
In case of violation of the above instructions, the local administration and law enforcement agencies will take legal action against the responsible persons. The local administration, law enforcement agencies, officials and employees of the Islamic Foundation and the management committee of the concerned mosques were requested to implement the above guidelines to prevent the spread of the deadly corona virus.
