Mufti Harun Izhar, education and cultural secretary of the disbanded committee, said, “The initiative taken to dissolve the Hifazat-e-Islam committee and restructure it should be appropriate. Otherwise, Hefazat-e-Islam will have to face a more difficult situation.

All of them are in tension and panic over the cases of mass arrest and sabotage. Ordinary leaders will not come to the organizational activities until the situation is normal, it is known to the leaders. Therefore, no program will be announced by the abolished committee for the time being.
Hundreds of leaders of various levels, including several top leaders of Hefazat-e-Islam, have been arrested in connection with the sabotage surrounding Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bangladesh. Top leaders fear arrest in sabotage case and Allama Shafi murder case. Many of the top leaders are now in hiding to avoid arrest. Allama Junaid Babungari’s followers are spending their days in panic and tension in this extreme crisis situation.
