Bravo left Shah Rukh Khan’s Knight Riders for another team

Like the Indian Premier League (IPL), Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has a team in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The current champion in the CPL is Shah Rukh’s team. The name of the team is Trinbago Knight Riders. However, former captain Dwayne Bravo will not play for that team next season.

The all-rounder has decided to leave the Knight Riders on his own. Another team in the tournament is the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Ramdin will join the Trincomalee Knight Riders from St. Kitts as part of the squad.

In a statement, Bravo said: “At this stage of my career, a new challenge was needed. Which is to work with young cricketers and contribute to West Indies cricket. Being part of St. Kitts, I am going to face a new challenge in the CPL. Thanks to the Trinbago Knight Riders. They respected my decision. Apart from cricket, I am grateful for what they have done for Trinidad and Tobago.

Bravo has played for the Knight Riders since 2013. He has won the title four times. In 2015, 2016 and 2017, the Knight Riders became the champions under the leadership of Bravo. The team also became the undefeated champions last season under Kieron Pollard. Bravo was the co-captain.

The names of the two have a lot in common. One is Shahid Afridi and the other is Shaheen Afridi. Soon they will be bound by kinship. Young fast bowler Shaheen is going to marry Aksa Afridi, the eldest daughter of legendary Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi. In the first Test against Zimbabwe, Shahin surpassed his future father-in-law in one place.

Shahin Afridi took four wickets in the first Test of the two-match series in Harare. He took 50 wickets in just 16 Tests. The pacer has taken 52 wickets in Test cricket so far. As a result, Shahin Afridi has surpassed Shahid Afridi in the number of wickets in Test cricket. Boombum Afridi took 48 wickets in his 26-match Test career.

Shahin took four wickets in the first innings but did not get any wicket in the second innings. However, Hasan Ali’s bowling cannon bowled out Zimbabwe for 134 runs in an innings and 117 runs. The second and final Test between the two teams will start on May 7.
