It was decided at the meeting to follow the hygiene rules framed by the health department to prevent corona and to ensure the operation of vessels with passengers at other seaports including Sadarghat; Punitive action will be taken against the owner / operator of the launch for charging more than the approved fare of the launch and for taking passengers by boat in the middle of the river; For three days before and after Eid, the crossing of ordinary trucks and covered van ferries will be closed except for the daily necessities and perishable goods trucks; All cargo ships and sand-carrying bulkheads must be stopped at night. The movement of sand-carrying bulkheads will have to be stopped during the day from May 11 to 16; The passengers and cargo of the launch cannot be overloaded in any order. Apart from this, it was further decided that the transport of goods / motorcycles from Sadarghat for five days before Eid will be completely stopped and the transportation of goods / motorcycles from other river ports for five days after Eid will be completely stopped. Speedboat traffic will be closed at night. Passengers need to ensure life jackets during speedboat movement during the day.
