He made the remarks at a televised news conference on Downing Street on Monday.
At the press conference, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom further said that the next step in easing the lockdown will start from May 18. At the time, the government was optimistic about launching international travel. At the same time, however, Boris warned that coronary infections were on the rise in other parts of the world.

Meanwhile, in the UK, the government has decided to test for coronavirus identification twice a week. The program is scheduled to start from next Friday. The country’s health minister said the plan would be used to ensure that the epidemic situation does not worsen in the future. But critics say the program could be a waste of money.

Open heart surgery in the event of a fire

The surgery was going on on the ground floor of the hospital. Suddenly a fire broke out in the wooden-roofed hospital building, and smoke billowed inside. But the medical team did not give up. Even in this situation, they performed open heart surgery on one patient. At that time 60 patients were admitted in the hospital.

The incident took place on April 2 in the eastern Russian city of Blagoveshchensk, AFP reported.

“We have done everything we can to save that patient,” Valentin Philatov, the head of the surgical team, told state television.

According to the Amur Regional Branch of the Ministry of Emergency Services, electricity was supplied to the operating room from another line. The firefighters made sure that no smoke could be spread in the room.

The patient was shifted to another hospital soon after the surgery. Apart from this, other patients of the hospital were also removed quickly.

Physician Antonia Somolina said hospital staff were not panicked at all.

Fire breaks out due to electrical disturbances. However, the fire was extinguished without any casualties.

Local authorities have promised to reward those medical teams and firefighters.
